Welcome to the Acorn Music Theatre Company Website. Our aim is to advance the education of young people in the art of theatre, music and other performing arts, regardless of colour, creed or ability, by creating original music theatre based on multicultural myths, legends and world stories.
Through using the very best artistic practitioners to work with young people, we aim to create confident and dynamic live performances for new audiences in unusual places.

The other important dates to put in your diary are 24th to 28th February when we will be holding an exhibition entitled ACORN BRANCHES OUT at the Old Fire Station Exhibition Centre. This event will include a celebration of the professional artists, musicians and writers who have supported Acorn over the last 20 years. More details of this exciting new venture will follow but it will include a short Acorn performance in the Market Place at 11.00 am on Saturday 25th so make sure you are free! We will also be applying to perform in the Henley Youth Festival at the end of March and the Kenton Drama Festival in May.

An Evening of Lovely Things From Clever Young People
Thank you to everyone who came along for the fundraising evening in December. The performances were wonderous. The event raised over £700 towards the Acorn music fund.
